Additionally, this’ll be the time to get any last minute shopping in before we depart.

Say our goodbyes to Goreme and head back to our beloved Istanbul for one last hurrah!

You think the village of Göreme has a lot to offer now, wait until you see what’s below it. Today we’ll be venturing over to uncover the underground city of Derinkuyu.

Sip on some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice before we hop on a local bus, and head back our hotel.

Let loose at “Turkish night” as you eat and drink till your stomach’s give up. Watch authentic and colorful traditional folk dances which include knife dancing, fire dancing, and belly dancing… and watch closely because you might just find yourself on the stage ;)

Finally, the day we’ve all been secretly waiting for - It’s Hot air balloon day!! Expect magic today!

Oooh and Aaah at the Open Air Museum’s massive collection of historical monasteries and cave churches that decorated with ancient Byzantine frescoes, and cut into volcanic rock during the Middle Ages.

Try some of the famous Maraş ice cream on the way to have ourselves a little Hittite pottery making experience.

Feast on one of Göreme’s complimentary, wildly delicious breakfasts.

Get to know the fantastical little town of Göreme by climbing it’s “fairy chimneys,” hiking it’s mountain ridges, and strolling atop it’s wonderfully beautiful volcanic landscapes.

Get lost in some of the many caves and carveouts that line the castle’s tiers, before taking in the ridiculous view from the tippy top of Uchisar castle.

Bob our heads and dance around to some live music.

All aboard! Get ready to fly on over to one of the most impressive regions of turkey: Göreme!!

Upon our arrival we will get picked up by a shuttle bus and be taken to our hotel.

We’ll check in and get settled at our crazy cool cave hotel, before we meet up and start exploring.
